Relates to solarium equipment in commercial establishments. Includes maximum irradiance limits, ultraviolet lamp emission characteristics, methods of measuring solarium irradiance and maximum exposure times, and a method for calibrating the radiometer necessary to performing the required measurements. Also specifies procedures to be followed by operators of solarium establishments, including the provision of protective eyewear and of warnings and advice about the dangers of ultraviolet exposure for prospective customers.
