Sludge thickening facilities utilizing membrane filtration are able to stabilize thickening-sludge concentration, which means the load on the latter-stage dewatering process can be fixed, and can also obtain clear filtrated water without turbidity. Thickening performance on sludge (formed with Al coagulant) from existing purification process by "Advanced treatment MAC 21" has already been evaluated. This research evaluates a high-efficiency purification process in an overall system by examining the operating conditions and performance of "ACT21" under R&D that treat sludge (formed with Fe coagulant) generated from the process. Includes tables, figures.
