Law enforcement authorities throughout the United States are concerned about the illegal use of hazardous chemicals. As a direct result of September 11, 2001, federal agencies identified compressed gas products that can be used as weapons of mass effect. Customer qualification is one way to ensure that hazardous products are properly controlled. This document provides guidelines for qualifying potential customers who purchase products considered at risk for illegal use.
