The DaiyaGateIkebukuro high-rise office building in Tokyo features a new hybridair-conditioning system of a central AHU for the interior zone and perimeterthrough-wall units (TWUs). The TWU adds an exhaust function that uses heatrecovery of indoor exhaust air. The system provides resiliency in theearthquake-prone region.
